When will textbook companies consistently provide online resources that leverage the full power of computer-based content?
When will textbooks as we know them today become obsolete? With what will they be replaced? What is the future of the textbook in a digital age?
When will educators and publishers figure out a way to deal with the ever accelerating rate at which information becomes not only available, but of vital importance to experts and students in a given field? What form will the solution take, and what will it mean for learners who are not enrolled in a formal course? What will it mean for higher education?
These are questions that need to be answered, and swfBook would like to be a part of that answer. If you have ideas, comments, or related questions, please consider joining me at my Flash for Educators blog.
